Bought $50K in a private placement at $5/share. The stock was trading at $14 at the time so it was a no-brainer. Stock ran to $26 soon after but since it was a private placement, I was locked up and couldn't sell for 6 months.

The market crashed, stock did a reverse 20:1 split. Now its at around $6/share.

I had $2,000 worth of Tivo stock, when it went from $3.80 (prev close) to $6.70 a day later... that was sweet
