Bad news for you mate😛 ,I switched my main rig (now a quad @3GHz) from SETI over to F@H last weekend ,so what's coming through there is pending credit & credit from my aging (nearly all skt A's) remote part time mini fleet.😉

But anyway ,a flying start for you!😀 ,maybe you can catch me (totals) before I partially switch back next month?

All my rigs are single core, fastest is a intel 3.8 ghz running two WU's at a time.
It's got 3 GB DDR2 in it, runs 24/7/365
Next is a intel 3.0 @ 3.3ghz 1GB memory.
In addition I have an old AMD 2400xp & a AMD 2500xp running.
I've got a couple boxes running Rosetta full time and all of them with Rosetta at least as the backup application.
With the whopping electricity bill I'll be shutting several of them down at night, especially the older & slower boxes. We haven't even gotten to winter yet!!

Those P4s @3.8GHz are real juice guzzlers ,you know you could sell your 2 P4s (1 CPU & maybe mbrd & 1rig) & the 2 XP rigs, buy a Quad (Q6600) use less power & have far more crunching power too!🙂

I don't whether either of your P4 mbrds support C2D or C2Q but you could certainly re-use your RAM.
You could end up with a cheap upgrade, cheaper electricity bills ,more crunching power & all in just 1 rig😀 ,that's assuming of course you don't need a 2nd rig etc.

My old XPM 2500 @2.5GHz used to draw ~180w at the wall running DC ,my E6420 C2D @3.2GHz also drew 180w running 2 DC clients!:Q ,my Q6600 @3GHz draws ~225w running 4 DC clients (or 1 SMP F@H).Running F@H on my X1950 Pro too ups that to ~260w.That's all on 240v AC btw.

Heh - if I consolidated to one machine I'd have to give up something near & dear - like breathing. 😉

With 6 kids & a wife who all want to use a computer we sometimes don't have enough to go around.

Fortunately I can usually fend off some of them by asking if their homework is done yet. I'm such a harda$$ sometimes, but I think it's good for them. :evil:

Hmm ,ok that wouldn't work then, how about just selling off the P4 3.8GHz & buying a C2D instead then? The saving in electricity would pay for itself 🙂 ............err no idea over what time period though 😉 ,any idea how much power it draws from the wall?

That one is paid for by my work, so instead of trading I'll likely just add another this year & I'll try to get something with at least 4 cores. I'll need it afterall... :evil:
