...he was showing me how to drive in his old plymoth minivan and we stopped into a gas station so he could show me how to check the oil level. (obvious mistake there)

Then when the oil level was exccedingly low ( gee i wonder why:D ) we proceed to put over 3 quarts into it. lol.

The same process was repeated a few days later as it was burning oil. Pop didn't know this.

Damn thing( the car) died a horrible death. At the end it was:

1) Burning oil like a mofo
2) Transmission would get stuck in Reverse
3) transmission would go into neutral RANDOMLY...even on the highway @ 60mph.
4) AC was messed up.

I would ALWAYS start though...

Damn miss my dad...haven't seen him in over a year. Spoke to him a few months ago for like 15min.

The mind is strange. Although 85% of what he taught me was a grievously wrong, the 15% was worth it.

Hmm, what do I say to this?

I'm sorry about the loss?
It's a great memory?
WTF did that come from?

In all seriousness, I am sorry for making light of your situation, and your intent to express it, but really, what can I say to this? All I know is, I should call my dad tomarrow . . ..

All i'm saying is that looking back on that I laugh my ass off....

a...bout my dad, I'm saying that 75% of what he taught me (irressponsibility etc) was worth it for the 15% of good stuff he taught me (athleticism)

It screwed me over somewhat but not having Dad just sucks

He didn't raise me much..that's the whole point. I saw him on wekends and even then he wouldn't show up a lot.

He was a good guy. Just irressponsible.

Everytime i talk to him he just want he to fix his pc.
