Apparently the hardware has been upgraded from the GeForce FX 5700 we saw last time around at CES in Las Vegas, with an unnamed GPU in there as well as a faster Athlon processor (no word on 64).

heh.....if its got an athlon processor it might be half decent, though they have no idea what they replaced the FX5700 with. maybes a 6600?

might not be all that bad.....but it sounds like a carbon copy of XBOX. CPU parts in a consol box

Yeah, but even if they manage to get a product on the streets by next year (unlikely), then they are likey to get owned the the PS3 and Xbox360, especially if the graphics is at the 6600 level compared to the chip in the PS3 that is based off of the G70.

Perhaps a 6200, we all know thats faster than a 5700.

Sarcasm aside, I havent heard much about the Phantom for a while.
