Heh, I just saw one of the new employees playing a Tower Defense game

As I was walking to the kitchen, I got a quick glance at a new employee's computer screen right before he furiously double-clicked and minimized the window.....

he was playing a tower defense game.

At least I know we have something in common

there are lan parties around here about 2x a year. There are about 400 people in our IT bldg so you know there are many like-minded people here.

We even have our own little FS/FT list around here. It's been very helpful since there's not a comp shop anywhere nearby (man I miss Fry's).

I fell into that hole last year. It has replaced golf as the "socialize and get together after work" activity. We all get in Vent and do raids twice a week. It's actually a good time.
