I am not a stranger to the vagaries of the tropics. I have lived hither and yon in parts of the world that would make your hair stand on end.

I have slept with the deluge causing a river to run above my bunk and I have slept in the parchest of places. I was just taken aback with the smattering of rain we were blessed with for a short time on this darkest ofnights. I have recomposed myself and am once again ready to face the beast that awaits me.
