thats cool i did something simular.

I had a POS pager while everybody else in the company was getting brand new 2way alpha numeric pagers. I tried to trade my old one in for a new fancy one. My boss kept saying, there is nothing wrong with the one you have.

So about a month later, get up and get ready for work and i see my POS pager sitting on the counter. I start thinking what can i do to this and leave no evidence. i spy my GE 1200 Watt microwave at the other end of the kitchen. Well Microwaves sends out radio waves and this pager picks ups radio waves....

Put the POS pager in microwave set for 2 seconds and hit start. No sooner did the light come on and i heard a nice litele POP. heheh the pager no workie now, the crystal was a little funky but hey no damage visable.

I walked in my bosses office and said my pager wont turn on. he tried and tried but for some reason he just couldnt get it to work either. So he gives me a departmental PO and i happily fill it out and take it to telecom for a new pager heheh. I love my new one have had it 2.5 years now and gotta love 2 way pageing
