Heh.. he asks me if I had ever heard of this monster resume thing, a place where you can submit your resume online and try to get a job. He then asked if I had a resume.

For graduating college he sure isnt up on things..

Okay, so I just visited monster.com and on the main page the poll question was "are you satisfied with your job?" 86% say no. Of course they do you idiots, they're visiting a website to help them find a job!

every time I see the word monster, I think of no other product or company but the ultra highend monster cable products! Monster cable should sue anything and everything that has the word monster in it!

the only thing those sites do is help you help yourself. if you cant get a job with thier service its not monter.com's fault, its the users fault. over half the people i know found their job through monster or a compeditor.

Total crap tech jobs, but still offers!

I got an offer for an internship a month ago. I posted a resume 3 years ago to try and find an internship during the summer between my Sophomore and Junior year. When nothing turned up I forgot about it.

After 3 years and a full time job out of college I can now fulfill my dream of having an low paying internship. 😛

Yup. One of my exes spent months either jobless or temping, even after sending her resume to every single job site. I redid her resume and got her a job the next week.

They just make you more visible, they don't make you look any better.
