Heely's what's with the craze?

my son asked me to get him a pair, i had to go to 5 different stores before i found someone with them in stock.

Crazy.

it's all one company to right? do they have a patent on it?

oh man i remember seeing cmomercials for these things like 6 years ago (it used to be on those TVMercials, the ones that take a half-hour time slot to advertise). I wanted one at the time, but now I realize it would've been a waste of money, not to mention not very practical.

They've been around these parts for a few years. They were really popular last year. I don't know if they make adult sizes, and while I think it would be cool to have a pair, I just know I would make an ass on myself with them.

It's rare that I see a kid in the North Metro Atlanta area without a pair on.

I often wonder how many have fallen and busted their tail but I have yet to see it happen.

they're back?

i remember back when i was in 5th grade (5-6 yrs ago) a whole bunch of kids had them and my teachers got pissed off so they took out all the wheels so the kids couldn't roll around in school, well this one kid started bawling his brains out, 😀 lol 5th-6th grade were great!

how the hell does it work? seems dumb to me, but then again, most fads are.

From what I've seen on the commericals, there's an inset in the heel. You can swap in a wheel (ideally, one for each foot), and then 'skate' on your heels. I do wish they had those when I was a kid too; but I probably didn't have the balance to make it worthwhile.
