Just installed my new Hedgehog.
Great combination with YS Tech fan.
Temp under load is down 8c
Old set-up was a Vantec Blue heatsink, same fan.
 
Ok Mort,does it do it or what?Is it smooth on the bottom or does it need to be lapped?Also is the fan just too loud or is that subjective?(election education)The reason I ask if its smooth on the bottom,some hh seem to have came out with their undersides not smooth or like rippled.Anyway give some interaction here.Thwe hedgehog is new to me,and I'm sure to others as well.

The bottom of the heatsink has a very nice finish.
I had 3 to choose from and all looked good.
The fan is not as loud as the delta,but you can not move a lot
of air without noise.

Except for gaming and benchmarking, I run my cpu and power supply
fans at low RPM with my motherboard utility.
Cpu fan at 2300 RPM = 24c idle to 28c right now on internet.
