Will this psu be enough to handle :

-amd64 3500+
-2gb ram
-3 harddrives
-7800 gt graphics card

i guess i shouldn't be squeezing pennies here, but i already happened to order this...well i'm pretty sure they could swap the psu to a better one but anyway, if this psu would do that'd be better.

Most Americans are mono-lingual, sadly I'm one of them.
Maybe if your link wasn't in German or is that Dutch?

Did you just make a mistake or is this a joke?

A very good price point PSU is Forton. I would think 400watts would be fine.

Welcome to Anandtech. Read the FAQs that you can find by clicking on Guides at the top of this page. The info there is sure to be an asset. Andy does a good job of keeping it current.

i'd say no. with only 18a on the 12v rail you're pushing it.

Yes i did realize that, i didn't make a mistake, but i assumed everyone can read from a graph and probably come to the conclusion that "spezifikationen" means specifications.

Sorry if i overestimated your ability to conclude.

I'm also sorry if this was against the rules, but i think it's still a matter of being picky if you complain about details like this.

babum, don't be so sensitive. I stated I was only capable of one language, I welcomed you and I gave your post a bump.

THG(toms hardware guide) has a pretty good review of PSUs, we have one here also that was done awhile back.

I saw German text and though my leg was being pulled. Never put together an AMD set-up yet.

Maybe you did overestimate MY ability to conclude but most of us do buy State side.

No offence was ment. You get a last bump from me ;)

Any info on the manufacturer of this PSU - HEC? Never heard of them and ran into them at a recent tradeshow. PSU looks nice, but I'm leary of trusting a brand I don't know anything about to power a system I build for myself or family/friends.

HEC is short for Heroichi Electronics Corp (imported by Compucase in the states). They are in the same league as Fortron re. quality. They are generally capable of putting out more than rated power. But this one is a bit light in the +12V rail for a modern system that runs the CPU off the +12 plus perhaps another special connection to the vid card that will use even more +12V. I'd like to see 25-30A on the +12 at 400 or so total Watts in a PSU for modern systems.
