Heavy Rain delayed until 2010

First it was Fallout 3 DLC for the PS3. Then it was Bioshock 2. Now Heavy Rain has gotten delayed until 2010 per Gamespy.

The good news here is that these delays aren't like celebrity death trifectas. Yeah, it sucks that they got delayed but these three today have been for good reasons.
1) Polish the games up until they shine.
2) Reduces the holiday clutter when games like Heavy Rain could get lost in the shuffle.

Kind of lame. Its one of the only games I'm looking forward too. I'm seriously burned out on the majority of game genre's at this point.

Yikes, I guess Holiday 09 for the ps3 rests on the shoulders of Ratchet and Uncharted

I guarantee the biggest holiday seller will be Modern Warfare 2

Good, maybe now sony push GT5 out for us then, because they don't have much stuff that's exclusive to them.

Microsoft is throwing out plenty of stuff for the holiday again. another halo game, L4d2, forza 3, plus all the multiplatform titles.

Lord knows there's also always half a dozen sleeper hits that nobody really takes notice of until a couple months before release.

You are leaving out potentially the biggest game on the 360 this fall in splinter cell conviction.... I am kinda shocked it looks like the 360 will have the better holiday lineup again this holiday season after what it looked like sony had a sure fire win in the games dept this fall.

I thought there were rumors of Splinter Cell Conviction slipping to next year. Were those debunked?

Last I heard, the release date was sometime in October this year.

Well, Gamestop has it listed for release on 10/20. And codes for a pre-order gun going out on the 19th. Doesn't make it official I guess, but makes it seem reasonable to see it this year.
