Wow....are you just trolling...every post you've made on this board has been troll worthy.

How does the friends list work on the PS3? Is it possible to send people invites even if they are play a single player game?

From what I can tell from having it a week or so, you can basically just tell if your friends are online or not, and if they are you can send them a request if you have a game setup for them to join.

However ... nothing pops up on screen like on Xbox Live. So the person who's being invited has no idea.

I played MK2 w/my friend and I didn't even know he had sent me a game invite, but when I went to MK2 online play menu, there was an extra option that said "Accept Invite".

Also when I look at my friends list, all it basically tells you is if someone is online or not and that's it.

I'm sure there may be a little more to it, but that's what I've seen the past week.

I haven't really messed around with the friends system too much, but I do know it tells you what they are doing, at least if they are in a game or folding or something. And I know when friends sign online, you get a little pop-up in the upper right-hand corner, but not sure if messages do that too or not.

wasnt able to take much away from that review on why heavenly sword is junk. hopefully the US review will be written a bit better. seems like that reviewer really had a lot of gripes with the pacing, which doesnt really bother me, i wont be sitting down for 6 hours to play any game :p

Messages do that to.

US review

same score 7.0

Heavenly Sword comes very close to being great, but nearly every element of its design falls short in one way or another. The combo system is quite good, though it has a few holes (like no specific block button). The battles quickly become very repetitive due to a lack of interesting enemies and the "arena" battles that frequently pause your progress. Kai's sniper missions work well in theory but can be overly long, and some of the extra bits like the button matching mini-games needed a bit more fine-tuning. Heavenly Sword's presentation is stellar and nicely ties the action sequences together, but we just wish that the same amount of care that went into these cutscenes were applied to the game's pacing.

but the US review actually gave the gameplay a 7.0 and not a 6.0. ;)
