I always saw nice media room with multiple displays. A main one and 2-3 other smaller ones but on the same side of the room. Never really saw the need or use for it. BOY was I wrong. I picked up two smaller 22 inch tvs, one for the kitchen and another to just put on the deck.

Let me just tell you this, having 3 displays right next to each other showing sports is pure bliss. I put the 2 next to the living room TV just to set them up temporarily and watching 3 different football games...I now understand why people have multiple displays. With the low prices on TVs in the under 40" range it's so nice.

Unfortunately, it also gets rapidly more complex when you want to switch any component in your setup to any TV. The only receiver I even know of that could do it is the STR-DA6400ES. But if all you're interested in is TV, it's probably manageable.

My uncle is big into sports gambling, and he has 3 big (50"+) TVs set up next to each other.

Sniff, this has always been my dream. Sadly, women have destroyed it.:(

Reminds me of Back to the Future II, where the future family has the wall of TV screens all playing different channels.
