I believe that it is only as real as one's fantasy. one can never truly understand what heaven or hell is without experiencing any joysfulness(pleasure) or sadness(pain) in life.

Seriously, can't you do your own damn work in deriving a personal philosophy or belief system? Why don't you educate yourself as much as possible and then determine how you feel about something?
 
I hope so. Life is a total waste of time if there is nothing beyond the here and now. Might as well kill yourself.
 
Did some research on this a few years back:

In the bible, hell is depicted differently than how it is commonly conceived.

Hell will be when the fire comsumes earth and there is nothing left, you cease to exist, not eternal fire that will comsume you.

The conception of eternal hell is derived from catholithism back in Roman empire days when they wanted to convert non-believers.
