As we live on this earth we had to of been created by some upper power weather thats God or some force. We all think about life after death, what really happens when we die? Many believe in the after life of heaven based on your religious views. My question if heaven exists does it only exist on earth? Or is it in a different dimension? Theres no way we can be the only existing life forms in this universe. So other life forms out there would they go to the same heaven as in which some believe?

Um no.

your entire statement is based on the fact that god is real, which alot of members on this froum disagrees strongly with, myself included

We "had" to have been? This is an assumption on your part; opinion, but not fact. There is no evidence that supports the existence of a higher power of any kind (this is not to say that one does not exist).

We all think about life after death, what really happens when we die?

Given that there's no evidence to indicate that anything happens to our consciousness after we die, we pretty much have to die in order to be able to answer that question.

Many believe in the after life of heaven based on your religious views. My question if heaven exists does it only exist on earth? Or is it in a different dimension?

Given that there is no evidence of any sort that supports the existence of "heaven", any speculation here is purely that, and no one answer has any more validity than any other answer.

Theres no way we can be the only existing life forms in this universe.

Opinion and assumption on your part.

So other life forms out there would they go to the same heaven as in which some believe?

Any speculation here is, like speculation on the preceding points, based on pretty much nothing but opinion.

Anything that happens post-death is 115% speculation, and no person can possibly claim to have any knowledge in the area.

Um no.

The OP said "God or some force". All you read was "God" and automatically took your anti-religious stand. The "some force" part could be some magical force that created what exists today. Maybe it was the Big Bang (some force huh?).

Earth will win hands down if Keanu Reeves is around.

But back onto the subject. This is a debate based on your religious beliefs. People should be able to tolerate others and shouldn't ridicule them for what they believe, no matter how it sounds.

we're a random occurance. and one that will be destroyed when our star goes nova, or simply collapses, or a random collision with a texas sized asteroid, or a magnetar. we are so seperated from anything that could even resemble us the odds of finding life out there that in any way shape or form grew up like us is nigh impossible. we're just rats in our little blue cage. embrace the nothingness, cause that's all there is.

but yes the concept of heaven actually being just another dimension is a great one. however, most will push you into the alien tin foil hat group for saying so.

Personally, I think the belief that nothing + nothing + time + a bunch of time + a bunch more time = everything is a little odd.

As far as after we die goes...well, like Astaroth said, unfortunately the only way to figure that one out for sure is to die.

Pick your poison. Nobody knows what happens after life.

Whether you put your faith into God (which I have) or you put you faith into science. Either way you win, if you think about it.

Our existence on the planet is simply matter and energy. What happens to the matter and energy that makes you up is pure conjecture on your, or anybody's part.

My initial viewpoint when I turned to God was that I would rather err on the side of caution. If I am right, WOO HOO! Eternal life in an existance far better than now! If I am wrong, WOO HOO! Nothing to worry with anyway.

Now, I look at things in a different view. Living by the word of God... the best I can... allows me to live better than I ever thought possible. I gave Him a chance, and it works.

Lately, everyone is out to brand a person ignorant, or whatever because he has faith in God. The funny part is that the person out doing that is just as ignorant. If not, they would produce definitive proof otherwise.

So, as I said, pick one, just be respectful of the opposing side. Without the respect, even if you are the one that is right, you miss the point of either belief entirely. Meaning that if you chose God, you missed his message. If you chose science, you missed the chance of living a disciplined, socially moral existance. (even if you don't follow God, you still have to answer to society)

Whatever...
