Maybe I'm wrong. I've always done it so that once the deal has been completed, each leaves their evals.
Day 1: I sell part
Day 1: Guy sends me PayPal
Day 2: I ship
Day 4: Guy gets package, emails and says everything looks good
Day 6: I leave eval
A few times I have sold things and the other party asks for an eval on day 1, right after I receive payment. I can understand their point. I normally wait to make sure the item arrives fine. What if the guy is a total ass once he receives the product? What if it breaks the next day and tells me he's going to come give me a ride on the mantrain? I give a couple of days buffer to give them time to actually install it and make sure things are going to work.
Is just sending someone money a good enough reason for a eval? I always kinda treated the eval as a report on the whole experience. Am I outta line and doing it wrong? Should I leave an eval the day I get the funds?
