Heatsink with 3 pins for Athlon 1.3

Cany anyone recommend a heatsink for an Athlon 1.3 on an MSI K7T266? Oh, and it MUST have three pins or whatever that hold it on the motherboard as one of mine broke, thank you.
 
Unfortunately most heatsinks have just a 1-prong clip but a few I know off hand do have a 3-prong clip. The Taisol, AX-7 and the Senfu.

And of course the alpha if you wish to bolt it to your mobo. Of the above the AX-7 is best followed by the Senfu. The Senfu cools well, but beware the lawnmower-loud fan.
 
Thanks blade. What about Globalwin's Tak68? Or 38 is it, or the Thermaltake DragonOrb? Either way it has three pins. Yeah, dumb me, I broke one of them while trying to take off my current heatsink lol. What's the best way to go about taking them off? Thanks again.
 
The Dragon Orb isn't very good going by the reviews I've seen. Funny you should mention the Tak 68. I happen to be testing it right now and forgot all about it being 3 prong. Yes, it does cool well. The fans are not as loud as the Senfu and other delta fans and it is meant as a quiet alternative. The install is very easy, maybe easiest of all actually. Tak 68 looks weird but works well. I don't suggest it for overclocking though.

Thanks once again blade, sorry if I was vague. I week or so back, I was trying to remove my current heatsink off my DUron 750 so I could apply some thermal grease (because I had none on and wanted it to run cooler). So, I had no idea what I was doing and ended up breaking one of the plastic clip things off. I'm just wondering how do you safely go about removing a heatsink? Also, even if I did get the three click heatsink would it still be plenty secure with the one broke off? Much appreciated as always ^_^.

How you remove a heatsink depends on the clip. Most have a slot in the front clip for a flathead screwdriver. Get one that fits the slot well then press down using the screwdriver and gently guide the front clip off the catch, using the screwdriver. Here's an example pic of a clip like this. Depending on the clip some do require more force than others.

A few other heatsinks have a tool-less clip like this very easy pivoting one from Coolermaster. With that one you just press down on the clip and guide it off the mobo catch. This is by far the easiest since no tools are needed and not that much pressure need be applied.

The Tak 68 you asked about also doesn't require any tools and is very easy to install. Just unscrew the knob on top, fasten the clip on the front and back then tighten that knob to apply tension and to secure the heatsink to the mobo.

Yours probably has one of the above for attaching and removing and my best guess would be that it has a slot for a flathead screwdriver. If not what kind of clip is it, or a pic would be useful or a link to that particular heatsink.
 
My heatsink doesn't have one of those easy access clips. It's a Coolermaster ep5 6I11. I think that Tak68 looks like my best bet. Thanks for your help blade.
