Heatsink was too easy to install?

I just got a Noisecontrol Silverado. I was able to clamp it down with just my fingers. Shouldn't it have been harder? I doubt that I applied even 5 pounds of force to it. It seems to be running kind of hot and I know it's not an airflow problem, so I was wondering...

dont know about your kind of hsf, but my cooler master was hard as hell to put on

There is usually a deal of leverage involved in the HSF pressure.

I found the sk-6 to be pretty easy as well...don't know about the silverado...but all the HSF's i've installed was done using a flathead screwdriver.
