I'm looking to get a heatsink for my duron 600, that i plan on getting to 900 in one way or another. I've been reading all over this board, looking for people's opinions on what i should get, and i've seen that maybe i should get the taisol, but then i see that maybe i should get the alpha? I'm really just looking for people's temps and experiences with different hsf. Thanks a bunch.

Also, i seen at 3dcool.com a spacer for the thunderbird, and duron, do i need that for all the hsfs? or just the hsf from them? thanks a bunch.

Heh. You again...

The Alpha PAL6035 works great for me. I also hear that GlobalWin and Taisol are also good.

As for the spacer, it is not necessary. As long as you are careful mounting it, you should have no problem.

Using the alpha 6035. Works great. Crappy clip but works like it's supposed to.
