I have an 1600+ XP, that runs at about 50-65C depending on room temp, and load. I thought that was a little warm with the Antec Jetcool that I have on the processor now, so I purchased a Dynatron Dc1206Bm cooler rated for 1.7ghz. I replaced the Jetcool and booted up win XP gets halfway through the boot, and then has a fatal error, asks me to restart, so I restart, same thing, also says that I should check any new hardware I've installed, and video card. So I try to boot 98, same result, different error message.
So I put the jetcool back on, boot windows, and runs fine.
The Dynatron ran fine, fan turned, I dunno what the deal is. Just wondering if anyone else had anyproblems like that.
