I have installed a new Skythe Ninja heatsink for my Prescott and it fails to boot. The computer turns on, but I never get a display and my computer just sits there, no POST or anything. So when I replace the stock intel HS back on there, it boots. What is wrong? Is there too much force on my processor? How do i fix this?

With the intel fan plugged in, go into the BIOS and turn off the CPU fan warning. It probably is set to not boot without a CPU fan detected to prevent overheating.

I already checked for that. That isn't the problem. The Ninja has a fan too and it is plugged in.
