Just wonering what u guys would reccomend for a amd64 3200+

i got about $50 to spend on the heatsink and fan, i want it to keep my chip cool, but at the same time i would sacrafice cooling performance for a less noiser one.

I think I'm going to go with the Thermalright Copper Heatsink for both Intel and AMD, Model "SLK948U". The only reason I'm hesitant is because I read that the entire surface of the processor isn't covered by this heatsink. They often cut small grooves into them to make them compatible with other processors. Anyone have experience with this heatsink and an AMD 64?

That's for P4 only... I'm pretty sure what they need is one for socket 754 Athlon 64...

I agree with the Zalman CNPS 7000A-cu. That's the one I'm using in the Athlon 64 3200+ and it works great. I recommend it!
