Heatsink, no fan, for P3-933 and Celeron 800?

We have several 24/7 computers that are lower-end machines. Two Celeron 800s, and one P3-933. The old cpu fans on the systems are quite loud.

We have already replaced the power supplies with quieter models. They have thermally controlled fans that move a good amount of air. They either use built-in video or video cards with just heatsinks.

Now I was wondering if I can put just heatsinks on the processors with no cpu fans? The room they are in is cooled, and they already don't get anywhere near hot. The Celerons I am pretty certain we can get by with just heatsinks (as one celeron came only with a heatsink and no cpu fan), but I am less certain on the P3-933.

So before I melt a system, I was wondering if anyone had any advice on the P3-933 and whether just a heatsink will work to cool it properly?

If you are using passive heatsinks you need to make sure that the system has very well planned airflow. Duct work wouldn't be a bad thing to get into for something like this. As long as you use good heatsinks with a lot of dissapation area. And as long as their temps are already low you should be able to stay within the safe range.
