Well here I was all happy I got all my parts ready to install.

Asus a8v
athlon64 3500+
antec 430 ps
antec lanboy
nec 16x dvd
wd raptor
wd 120

My first problem was bad power supply so go back to the store. Then I forget the artic silver another trip to the store. Then trying to put the hs/fan on I slip and srew a trace in the motherboard. WHY IN THE
FUC**&&^%% DO THEY MAKE SO HARD AND TIGHT TO INSTALL THIS SHIT? Do you think asus with rma it and ship out one overnight if I charge it to my credit card? How hard is it to fix traces? Guy you would have to be skilled adn able to work in tight spaces. Sorry for ranting and not knowing where to put this figured it would be as good as any.

on all my expensive boards I use a credit card ( sometimes you need to cut to size), that way when I slip I damage my uselss credit card.

Very good suggestion. I just try to hit the protective strip when I slip. Never missed yet
