heatsink for minor OC recommendations

you should just spend some time reading some other threads on the forum.. there are about a million threads that ask similar questions.

but here.. i'll help you out a little:

q6600 @ 3.0ghz? yes. b3 or g0.. easily attainable - almost guaranteed

heatsink recommendations? @ 3.0ghz, you don't need a really good heatsink... my b3 stepping can run 3.0ghz at stock voltages - but just don't use the stock heatsink.

top two heatsinks (general consensus.....)
1. Thermalright Ultra 120 extreme/nonextreme (undisputedly the best)
2. Tuniq Tower 120

your config looks good. w/ high end parts you probably can easily go higher than 3.0ghz
 
Thanks for the replies. I've narrowed done my choices by reading the various posts.
Seen good reviews on the Tuniq.
Any other recommendations?
