Heatsink/Fan Question for Athlon 1.2 Ghz (good deals inside?) pls help!

I need to buy a hsf for my Athlon 1.2 Ghz. I was thinking of buying from The Heatsink Store . They seem to have some increadible deals.

What should I buy?
Has anyone else dealt with them? I cant seem to find ther online rating.

They have a $16 all copper hsf called the SVC Golden Gate that looks like the one from OCZ. Is this goldengate w/ the 27cfm fan a good hsf? I Don't want a loud delta, so noise is more important to me than performance.

They also have the Volcano II for $10.

I will also buy some ASII from them for $5.

So what hsf would you go for, and would you buy from them?

Please help!
 
Here's another vote for the Taisol CGK760 + AS II. I'm running that exact set up with a 1.2@1.33GHz Tbird.
 
Well, I would buy that, but they are much more expensive than the www.heatsinkstore.com. I mean ASII for $5 and a flat $4.00 shipping on any order..that is amazing. So thank for the input about the Taisol, but I think I am going to order form this site assuming someone can verify it's integrity as a retailer. Has anyone bought from them, or heard anything about them?

 
imho--better buy from a sure bet retailer place rather than the one you are unsure about just to save a few bucks. Sometimes it may cost you more than that. that's the leason learned from shopping online.
 
The taisol is probably the best heatsinc(exept the swiftech mc462-a). Other heatsinc rely on loud aplphas or other huge fans for performance.

That place is not even listed on resellerratings.com, I would not buy from there. Steve's store has a 7/7 on reselleratings.com though, buy from him(compuwiz-tech.com)

what do you base your opinion about the Taisol on??? i've had the Gladiator/Golden Gate. I just ordered from this site, the Golden Gate w/ a 27 cfm fan for $19.98 shipped. That's a good deal. this is a very GOOD hs. I've tested 3 current HS, the WBK38, the SK6 and the Gladiator / Golden Gate.

in my opinion the Gladiator/Golden Gate is the best of the three. everyone who has had this HS has raved about it, there has been nothing negative written about it. well other than the fact that OCZ sux, but this isn't ocz now is it?

Compuwiz, seriously consider carrying this product, i'm not sure exactly where you can get it from but it is a top notch product.
 
I orderd a Gladiator w/Delta Fan at OC store Tues., received it today with free shipping.
I read alot about OC store service being bad. They seem to have great service in my book, 2 Day service free shipping, can't get better than that.
I bought my T-Bird from Compuwiz also, I didn't check his sight for fans though, that Taisol looks good to.
I have read good things aboout the Gladiator and Taisol, I don't think you can go wrong with either.
