Hey, I just bought the soundtrack for Heat. The main purpose I bought it was for the ending theme, "God Moving Over the Face of the Waters." But I noticed it's a different version from the ending theme from the movie. Is there a movie version for this song? I didn't get any results from limewire, but does it exists?
 
Heh. I noticed this, say 5 years ago at least? Yes, they are different versions, both composed by Moby. The real movie version was never released on CD to my knowledge.

In order to get the real movie version, I had to use Creative Recorder to "rip" the music while playing the DVD on my computer.

I also had this exact same interest. I fixed my issue by looking on my favorite file-sharing networks. Most versions were from the album. But one was either an edited version or pulled straight from the movie.
Of course I deleted it immediatly after listening once.
