Heatpipe CPU cooler facing downwards OK?

Does anyone know how mounting a heatpipe cooler like the Arctic Cooling Freezer Pro would be if it is mounted so that it's facing downward? I have my system mounted to the underside of my desk, so the CPU faces directly at the floor. I've had no issues with my P4 rig with a Zalman heatsink on there, but I'm wondering if this would work with a Conroe E6300 and this heatsink or maybe one of the Typhoons.

Alignment of Heat Pipe Coolers
Since we use more expensive sintered powder heat pipes for our Freezer Pro Series, the alignment doesn't matter. They offer in any casing exactly the same performance.
