Heating Problem in HP Pavilion g4

My friend has got an i3 HP pavilion g4, and it has been overheatin since the last few days.... its like, the laptop jus shuts down after say an hour of usage, and the bottom is really really hot... So, can anyone advise me what we can do to prevent it????
 
get a compressed air duster and try dusting the fins off internally..

If that still doesnt work, you may want something like this...

They connect to the slot where ur cpu sinks blows out.. and forces more air though it.
