Heater is suck on ...

The heater is stuck full on in my apartment right now and it's +5c outside and it must be around +40c in my apartment ... My Intel 4690K is idling @ 40c on a couple cores LOL. So hot I can't sleep ... So hot I don't want to game and overheat my CPU LOL.

It wont overheat your CPU. (Unless you got some OC maybe.)

2C outside, 26.9C inside, 31C case temp. No core is over 60C when gaming Elite here on stock cooler. GPU however is at 77C.

Your heater is stuck on huh? I think you should be asking management what the hell the maintenance staff is up to.

You will be fine. CPU will shut down if it gets into the danger zones.
Your idle temp is the exact same as many laptops, and they use the same chips.

You should also ask management for some window screens.

Ya I know. My CPU does not blue screen my system until it hits 91c LOL.

I don't think the laptops have the same chips as full on desktops. Also I am running a CM Hyper 212+ which is far and beyond even the wildest and best laptop cooling solutions.

Ya but then they will see the holes I put in the walls that are half way in repair LOL. Have to wait no worries it's colder tonight.

sometimes I have room temp near 40ºC, the effect is normally the fans spinning a lot faster, the maximum temp is higher than when the room temp is around 20ºC for sure, but not all that much....

I kept my PC in the garage for the summer and the start of winter. In December it was ~12°F one night and I locked the FX-8350 at 1.4Ghz . My hard drives were reporting just over freezing 3-5C but my CPU reported 0C when I turned the cpu fan on high.
