63C or 145F :Q
*update* 64-147 🙁

I had one that was still running RC5 @ 69C the other day. I quickly placed some more fans around the cpu & it's now running about 60C. eeek! :Q

What is this temperature of which you speak? I know not of temperatures ... then again I have had a couple of systems die recently .... 😉

okay, i am not a cooling guru but i know this much
you CAN NOT, and i stress CAN NOT compare socket A temps from different motherboards
there is no standard or accurate way to compare temps!! try th ecooling forum though

All I know is these babies are hot!!! Of course i did not help matters when i fired up Srious Sam 🙂:Q what a hoot!!!

<< do the heatsinks feel hot? u using AS? >>

yes and yes
had to clock one of my birds down to 1300 for now,got plenty of fans and using the same fop32 as I have on this one, but for some odd reason that heatsink is even much warmer to the touch, even got a 120mm papst aimed at it right now to help keep it cool :Q and also have a 120mm blow hole out the top to exhaust. I know these are not exactly accurate temps supplied by onboard sensors...but thats the hottest I have ever seen on my Abit boards.

And I would rather clock them down then listen to one of those FOP38 fans. I have two of those noisy bastards on my crack setup downstairs.

Problem solved...Sams Club has these nice little GE AC window units for $119.00.just enogh to cool the computer room 🙂
