I know this topic has been beaten to death but it pisses me off! Leave some freaking heatware! 4 people owe me heat for weeks! I wish I could retract or modify the heat I sent them. Geez, is it so hard? I see you guys online! Youve been here long after the trade/sale! Leave me my long overdue heat! Geez!
 
Been here 7 years and only in the last couple of months has this happened to me. No biggie but how hard can it be? Especially when they dont even respond to PMs or emails. And they do come online.
 
So.... what is this heatware thing? I looked at the site and is it a rating system for forum trades / sales? how do you use it? Sorry if I'm reposting or being a noob.

it is like feedback on ebay, the anandtech forum has no native feedback system, so a member, heat23 , created heatware (heatware.com) to server as a feedback system for anandtech and several other forums that have active FS/T communities to track deals between members

Nah, I always send a HEAT and request one back after a trade or sell or purchase. I always PM and email them saying all is good and I left you some HEAT. Occasionally I send another reminder via PM or email. Its just 4 people in the two months who have received the items and have been on Anand who have not sent heat nor responded to any PMs or emails. Plus It's slow at work and I just need to vent some frustration. 🙂
 
I have had lots more trouble with eBay'ers not leaving feedbacks in a timely fashion or at all, than I have ever had with HeatWare.
 
I'm guilty.

I always leave heat for things I purchase though, and it's not very often that that happens.

I just get busy and miss stuff and forget to leave it for purchasers. Conversely though, I never chase people for it at all, so I probably have half of the positives I should have, oh well.

I'll try to be better, I promise 😀

Myself, I currently have around 150 Evals.
I have made over 250 deals here and at other forums, and left heat for almost all of them.
So I guess you could say I am owed ~ 100 Heat evals?

I try not to let it bother me, though a couple of High-Heat, heavy traders have failed to leave me any and I just stopped trading with them.
Any more, I just leave the heat and forget about it.

I have 105 deals. I have only had 2 people not leave me Heat.

 
There was one guy I think i forgot to leave heat on. He never reminded me though. I think he sensed the negative heat because he sent memory in a ziplock baggie.
 
yeah i have 2 ppl that are supposed to leave me heat and it has been likke 4 months. inthe last 2 years i have missed out on myabe 8 evals because people are lazy
