Does anyone know a solution for this?

I logged in and left feedback for several individuals who I had purchased from recently. Upon doing so I noticed that heatware still had my old email address. So I went in and updated it.

Well as soon as I did, I tried to log back in, but I got a message stating this account has not been activated yet. This got me worried so I then just tried to look at the directoy for my account name. Nothing listed under that account name.

So all of my feedback since 2003 appears to be gone.

I have went to the email account where I switched the account to and I have not gotten a email. I did email tech support with this problem but am wondering if there is anything else I can do. I am very very worried as like I say this has been my feedback since 2003.

Even more strange. I check someone who I left feedback on and it shows my name. I click on my name there and it says no such account.

Man this is confusing. Please help.

Please does anyone else have a suggestion?

I have contacted heat via email, I have pmed the person spanky suggested and I cant find anything. And still nothing, no reply, no message, nothing at all.

This is really scary. Its like my whole trading career oline can be gone in the blink of the eye. Maybe people should really think about that when putting so much trust in heat. I am beginning to wonder if its a good idea. I mean our accounts on this is what many of us rely on to show that we are whom we say we are and that we are trustworthy. Like I say I was with them since 2003 and it does show feedback that I left. But when I click on the feedback of my character I get account still being created. Someone please help.

I am begging some

Thank you,

Daniel

P.S. In case this might help or not my Heatware is Dravun.

Still no go :(

Its been almost a month now and still no contact. I have emailed Heat quite a few times and not even one reply. I have tried messaging heat23 but not one reply.

Why is heat so popular as a service when their service is this bad.

All I attempted to do was update my email address. Now I have lost every heatware referral I have had. This would not be a big deal but lots of people only put their faith in Heat. I have been with Ebay since it started and have all positives. People do not even consider that. Yet I cannot understand why. Ebay is a huge company that requires credit card info and checking account info to allow new accounts. So the chances of a Ebay user being a risk should be far less than those of another company who does not require as much information. Also I am paypal verified, meaning they have checked and verified my home address and banking account. Shouldnt those facts count for something as well? (Sorry just trying to think of what I am going to do if I cant get anyone from Heatware to respond.)

Even more strange is the fact that I can go to people I have sold too and still see my username listed with the positive I left them. Yet when I look for that username it does not exist.

I am just totally lost on what to do.

Yes friend I tried that, and thats the main problem.

I am not with my previous isp. I moved out of range of that company and cannot get service through them. So because of that I cannot recieve email at that account. That is why I went to switch the account.

I went in, entered new email, entered password, all info and clicked for it to update the info. Everything looked fine. Then I tried to log back in and thats when it said I do not have a account. I am totally lost.

I mean even if it was just a password problem then the account should at least be showing. Its acting like the account does not even exist. I mean I cant view it on directory even. Nor can I log into it to fix the email address or do anything. Also, as I stated above, I can go and look at people I have had transactions with and see my username on their. I am not sure how since its acting like I do not even have a account.

Bumping and pming one more time in hopes that someone from heatware will actually contact me.

I am amazed that such a popular service would have absolutly no support. I mean I can understand it being a free service and slower support, but absolutly no support seems strange to me. Especially considering what it is used for.

But still I try again, please does anyone have a suggestion to fix my problem, or at the very least a different email where I might get a hold of someone at heat support to get my account fixed.

Thank you up front,

Daniel

Has anyone had to deal with Heat support in the past? If so how long did it take for you to get a reply?

Hmm still no info. One more post here, then going to check out Heatware again and drop them a email and post a link to this on their forums. Hopefully that will generate a response. If no contact though, I guess it is a no hope situiation.

EDIT:

Woo Hooo...... Maybe....

Just got back from the Heatware site and noticed these two new posts at the top of their page.

"Thu, Mar 31st 2005 11:50pm Posted by heat23
One additional note I forgot to add in the previous post, if you have any outstanding support requests, please re-submit them using the support form.

It's been a long time since HeatWare has had any updates, but finally we have created a MUCH needed Support Center. Previously, HeatWare support has been virtually non-existent, but we intend on changing that - and this is the first step. We have disabled direct e-mail support and replaced it with a support form to help us keep requests organized. Before contacting us, please read through the FAQ section. The support center will constantly be updated, so be sure to check it often! Thanks for all continuing support!"

So hopefully something good has come of this :)

/me crosses fingers.
