Heat spreader for ddr

HI.
Is good to install aluminum heat spreader for the memory DDR ( Corsair Value Select DDR 400 VS1512mb400 C3) although don't be made overcloking ?

Does the aluminum heat spreader really lower the temperature of the memoirs and maintains them cool?

NOPE 🙂 If even the slightest thing goes wrong in installation you can actually raise your temps 🙁 Stick to no-heatspreader
 
I prefer the Copper ones myself and although they barely lower any temps on the stick, where they do benefit the stick chips is by spreading the hot spot on them through out the covered RAM...hence the name Heat Spreader 😉
