Hey,
I just made a $1500 order for computer parts

and an LCD screen is comming soon too. Best of all my dad paid for it all! I have a question about temperature sensors though. On your section on a web page I saw that the CPU heat sensor goes right in the middle of the processor. This seems logical enough. However I am using an AMD 64 socket 754 and I don?t think that there will be enough space to put the sensor in there. My sensors came with my case, and they look very similar to the one on that page (little wire inside plastic casing). They have a plastic tube cover around them (with the sensor bent backwards on itself at its base, so that the tube is held in place because it is bent back on itself. Sort of like if you tried to shove your elbow into a tube or something
), and it says on the cable ?don?t pull?. How do you take the temp sensor cover off if you don?t pull it off? Do you have to cut it? Push it? LOL, the manual doesn?t say anything about it.
I am buying a cooler for my HDD as well (SATA 120 GB), and I don?t know where to put the temp sensor on this either. There is also a ?system? sensor that I don?t know where to place. Are these sensors supposed to be contact sensors or do they measure air temperatures? Do you have any other recommendations on the placement of my 3 sensors (labelled HDD, CPU and System, and all with ?don?t pull? on a label on the cable)?
I really appreciate the help as this is my first homemade PC. I can't wait to get it up and running.

Thanks in advance,
