Heat Rises Mid Tower Case

looking for a heat rise top exhaust mid tower case. what are available makes/models in midtower atx form factor.

silverstone raven rv03 is simply it too big and bulky.

Not sure exactly what you mean by a heat rises case. Most cases nowadays have an exhaust fan or two on the top of the case and I don't see anything in the Silverstone design that indicates its airflow is better setup for top exhaust. Perhaps you could give more info?

Ah ok, so basically a case that allows vertical orientation of the motherboard. I must admit that I haven't seen many cases like that although it is a good idea in theory. The only other one that I know of that allows that kind of orientation is the Fortress from Silverstone as well and it's also a pretty bulky case. Any particular reason that it must be this way? There are a fair number of cases that ventilate really well without vertically mounting the motherboard. Another option would be a custom case from someplace like Mountain Mods but it won't be cheap.

Silverstone has a patent on that design.

Well that would explain why they're the only ones that have a case with that kind of motherboard orientation. I guess the op could either wait until the patent expires (whenever that is) and another manufacturer makes a case with a vertical motherboard orientation option or go with another case.
