Can someone help me compare the thermal dissipation of the duron 1.3ghz and tbird 1.1ghz (200FSB)? I looked at AMD's tech docs but they dont list the 200FSB 1.1Ghz processor.
Right now I run a 800mhz tbird (200fsb). I am using a GC68 with one of those 18CFM NMB fans. The thermal probe on my ASUS A7V (KT133) mobo says 47C at idle.
From the benches I've seen, the 1.3ghz duron is mostly a bit faster than the 1.1ghz tbird, or does anyone disagree? I cant resist these cpus, at under $35 shipped.
