Heat issue concerning rMBP during no load.

Hello,

I just got my 1st mac book pro ever, and fortunately its a Retina one.

Its BTO/CTO
2.7Ghz
16GB Ram
SSD

Under Win 7.

Now everything is perfect with it, just tested for image burn in and its all good,APART from the heat issues i am currently fighting with.

Under practically no load, the left hand side (where the CPU is) gets quite hot.
This is under no real load , no gaming, no Flash, Only running temp gauge programs.

Here is a SS. IGNORE CPU TEMP ON LUBBO's. (it's buggy)

Now while playing D3 it gets between 85 to 91 C THAT i can understand and tolerate, because i am running it at native res with everything set to max (apart from shadows) with Fan RPM at 6K.

Also playing L4D1 makes the temp on the CPU hit 98 C plus. NO SHUTDOWN yet, but i cant play sometimes because the keyboard gets unforgiving hot.

Now this to me is getting dangerous, because every time i log in now, i start up Lubbo's and set fans to max, even while browsing the web.

Only when i run fan RPM at 6K do i get into the reported 40 C and 50 C.

Or is this normal and other ppl are reporting bogus stats or simply because they have a lower clocked CPU the thing stays cooler?

1) i am killing off my fan durability
2) i am worried my rMBP is defect in a way
3) the dust collection with the high RPM will be substantial, and will reduce life span.

Also the AC adapter gets hot enough to cook an egg on.

Any suggestions on what to do? i cant keep running fans at 6K, it will Clog with dust, and reduce fan life span.

I ordered a Cool master U3 already, and its in the post, but since the MBP has no fans like regular laptops, it wil lreduce the temp by 10 C MAX (if i am lucky)

So, please let me know what you think and if this is normal.

Cheers.

What does your CPU usage show in Task Manager? Is something running in the background making your PC work?

Are you able to dual boot into AppleOS and see if you have the same heat problems there?
