Heat, from a duron to a T-Bird

i get 31c with my duron 800 but just ordered a 1.2 T-Bird and was wondering what kind of Temp to look for?

Around 50c full load.

what makes the T-bird that much hoter? I have even overclocked my duron to 1.7 gigs and the volts at 1.85 and still at full load it will only reach the low 40s

dude you definately never overclocked your duron to 1.7 gigs.

if you did I would give u mad props,


but the fact remains that you didnt.


what Heatsink do you have?

we gotta know that to tell ya what your temps would be.

On top of that, i know you're not accurately measuring temps(but who can really do that with socket-a setups), so your temp "readings" are highly dependant on your mb.

i'm use a vantec hsf/arctic silver II and a modded case two 120mm fans one sucking other on top blowing though blow hole. two 80mm one at 3 inches from front tilted to blow over mobo and other at rear blowing out
