Heat for lower end AMDs

Hrm... Actually...

Could anybody clue me in to how hot AMD 700s to 1000s run approximitly?

my 1.2 gig tbird runs around 50C. AMD says that under 65C is ok. i think a 700 mghz to a 1 ghz tbird running between 40C and 60C would be average.

50C is pretty hot, don'tcha think? Well, maybe not with stock hs/f...

Hi Fakey,
My 750@933MHz Duron with a globalwin/Taisol fairly standard type heatsink/fan arrangement ran at 43C.
My new 1.2GHz@1.4Ghz Athlon with same heatsink is 53C
Hope that gives you some idea of what to expect

Any temp that anybody gives you is very subjective.right now any amd temps are not accurate because of the way every board maker calculates temps.

Until palomino with onboard temp can be released it's kinda useless to ask for amd temps,unless we are all using the same motherboard.and we are not so temps are not accurate.
