Never.

Heat = Collateral > *

Or better yet, Michael Mann = God.

Which is the only reason why I will see Miami Vice in theaters.

Why are we comparing Heat to Bad Boys? Is it because there is a cop in each movie?

Donnie Brasco > Beverly Hills Cop!

Heat is overrated

Elaborate.
Ok. The ending is stupid and Al Pacino is terrible in it (he basically plays his usual loud, obnoxious self only this time louder and more "badass") and ruins the movie.

DeNiro and his cohorts are great (especially their interaction with each other), as are most of the surrounding cast, and the shootout after the robbery is classic - one of the best. But, Pacino is so bad and predictable that he kills the flow of the movie. Every time he comes on the screen I think, "whoa, this man is intense</sarcasm>. I wonder what new badass thing he'll do now ... or maybe it's time for his inevitable humanization, even he must have a sad side."
