Hey everyone

I wanna know if heat in a system can cause games like Starcraft to crash unadbruptly. Like today, i was playing sc with my roomies then all the sudden the game crashed for no reason, i felt the behind the power supply and it was pretty warm, ..

that leads me to my next question..
right now im running a voodoo3500tv, which only has a heat sink.. im pretty sure the card gets fairly hot, even though i do not overclock the thing, it just stays hot all the time.. the only fans i have is the one on my cpu, what other fans or dryers are available so i can cool off my system.. i still have an ISA slot open, but i think the heat is really torturing my system...

thanks again !!

Are you sure the temperature make it crash ?
You should get temperature monitor software (dont worry it's free) and measure your processor & MB temperature (if your MB support temp monitoring)

You can use a slot cooler and place it near the Voodoo heatsink, so it can suck hot air out, and place an additional fan on your front case to blow fresh air in.

I modded a 120mm fan onto side of case that blows air across Radeon 32ddr oem card and other pci cards...keeps ram and gpu HS rather chilly...I am ocing it 192/192 sometimes asynch 205/192 and it still stays rather cool.

...your pS can act as you exhaust...blow clean the fan every once in awhile...
