Most hot water heaters pump out 120F so just use hot tap water and wait for it to cool a little, probably 5-10min.

WTF @ that website. First it suggests having wine or beer in the hot tub, then it says to bring out a portable DVD player and watch a movie. At the bottom of the page, don't drink alcohol in the hot tub, and never spend more than 15 minutes in the hot tub. 104 degrees for 30 minutes is about the max you should ever do. I know that I spent about 40 minutes at 104, and by the time I got out, I felt very uncomfortable - very hot, though very relaxed.

Hot water heaters can be adjusted over a very wide range of temperatures. Last I checked, at the tap, mine was over 160 degrees.

You thought the C to F conversion was hyperbolic? That's the only way there'd be 2 intersection points, which doesn't make any damned sense.

Like I said, brainfart. No idea what hyperbolic means.

Quick checking on Google and it does not seem like there is a point where they meet on the high side, so guess it's linear. I guess it would make sense, but imperial can be weird so I would not put it past the inventors to make it non linear. :p

Might be a state law for my area then. Its all democratic-y like that. A homeowner can adjust their own higher, but they will always set to 120F if anyone works on it. They are required to do so. All apartments are 120F.
