I know they want to deflect away from Obama and Prof. Bell as much as they can and now racist yet again is this week's new buzz word in the media but come on. What the hell is CBS thinking publishing a story like this? I just about fell out of my chair after spitting out my coffee.

Thirty-six white people were used in the study, with half getting propranolol and the other half getting a placebo.

This post is a pretty impressive study on the OP more than anything else.

Nowhere does the article say that only white people are racist. When conducting a study like this, it would certainly be helpful for cost and validity purposes to keep your study subjects of a similar demographic. This way you can show them the same pictures, use the same prompts, etc, etc.

Amazing how you can take one stupid article and spin yourself up into a conspiracy against white people by 'librul' researchers combined with a conspiracy to help Obama by the 'librul' media. You are truly deranged.

Amazing where you try to spin this into some sort of real study with real criteria. This was nothing more than a deflection attempt that fell flat.

Is it possible for you to make a thread that's critical of "your side" when they do something stupid?

I'm sick and tired of conservatives only criticizing liberals and liberals only criticizing conservatives. There's plenty to be critical of on both sides by everyone, not just your ideological opponents.

I would but I couldn't find the FOX News page on the study of 36 black people. Believe me, I went looking. Had I found one and posted it there would be no outrage.

I don't mean on this specific issue, I mean in general.

Whenever I see a thread critical of liberals it's created by a conservative. Whenever I see a thread critical of conservatives it's created by a liberal. It's ridiculous... and makes the person who created the thread no better than those they criticize.

Ahh, so this was created by someone at Oxford for the purpose of conducting a study without standards in order to create a headline at CBS to deflect attention away from Obama? (attention about what exactly I'm not sure)

This is pretty impressively insane, but now my curiosity is piqued. So what do you think was the purpose behind the study, to smear white people? To protect Obama all the way from England? What was their connection to CBS? Did CBS commission such a study in order to have a topic to use in this deflection?

Please explain how this whole web of conspiracy fits together, I'm excited to learn more.

I am talking about CBS and their attempted diversion, not the study. Wow are you really that dense? Look at the flipping picture on the page that CBS decided to use along with the language in the story and try to tell me this isn't typical liberal media antics. Try telling me that with a straight face, I dare you. Never mind, I am preaching to the choir here.

Curious to see if there is another news source on this study though.

You know what's really funny? The paper was written by a group at Oxford. The Obama conspiracy knows no national borders!

Looking at the paper, any effects are borderline at best. My guess is that anything that is there is due to lowering stress levels (the drug is often used for stage fright, apparently).

Edit: got beaten to the punch on the Oxford bit. As for the CBS: 1) it was the local channel, not the natonal network and 2) it has been going for the better part of a week now. It's an insignificant study, but conspiracy not found.

WTF? A drug to control 'racism'. I would hate to see the day when something like this drug becomes mandatory in schools or something. Even criminals should not be subjected to it.

In the 10 years I've been able to vote, every ballot I've cast has had selections for both Democrats and Republicans. Can you, truthfully, say the same?

Wait, you're mad that an article about racism used a picture of racists? CBS is engaged in a plot to deflect attention from Obama by planting a local news story in one of the most solidly Democratic markets in America? Listen to how insane you sound.

If CBS is truly engaged in a 'librul' plot to help Obama they need to give me a call because they are terrible at it.
