I work the night shift at a local warehouse, got home about an hour ago, with a hankering for something juicy and filling. So I whipped up a steak, eggs, and some bacon, with a side of toast and OJ. Better than Denny's anyday, and only took 20 minutes of cooking thanks to my George Foreman ;)

Beware, high quality images of drool-inducing food!
Mmmm...beefy!
Perfectly cooked too, so tender!

Looks delicious, but I would take away either the bacon or steak(either one), and add some whole grain bread or cereal. Other than that...mmm.

Normally I'd agree, but this is the first time I've eaten something more than toast for breakfast in I can't remember when. Because of my work and my sleep patterns being messed up because of it, I usually wake up, go to work, come home, have something minimal to eat, then sleep for a few hours before starting it all over again.

Lay off the toast, otherwise a very good breakfast. You didn't use margarine did you?

God no, I actually used some locally made jam, no preservatives or additives, just natural fruit jam :)...very yummy. Also, I drink that Simply Orange juice stuff, with the high pulp, I absolutely love it. Pretty good for you too, lots of extra calcium.

I ate cereal and juice for breakfast every morning for the first 36 years of my life. Then I switched to sausage, french toast with peanut butter, and juice. My chloresterol dropped, my blood sugar improved, and I've lost fifty pounds in the two years since. Protein for breakfast is the way to go.

Yeah right, like the cereal and juice was the reason you became obese.

You mean you aren't a glutton.

I suppose you can put it that way, I put the rest away for dinner tonight at work :)

The steak looks mighty good, so does the eggs.... I could do with less bacon though. :)

That looked quite good, but dang, you better only be eating that all day. Worth it for sure.
