Heard some people are still able to use AIM

AIM is down for me
I am on the West Coast, specifically Berkeley, CA
edit: earlier today, it claimed that someone was online. when i tried to IM them, it said that they were offline and therefore not available, but they were still there on my buddy list as online. anyone else get weird behavior earlier today?
edit again: how about ICQ? down for me too.

unfortunately, only one other person on my BL is online and i can't seem to send them a message

AIM is experiencing hardcore technical difficulties. This exact same thign happens every time something goes wrong; the vast majority are booted, the rest cling to the servers but can't do jack
