Heard of Koolance? You probably should have!

Interested in mainstream liquid-cooling for your case? Check out Koolance. I just noticed them today in an ad. in the monthly Seattle computer mag. (ComputerSource). Apparently Infotech Systems is using them for even some of their more standard systems.

The cases themselves look pretty good, as does the cooling system (it takes care of the power supply, cpu, video card [in March], and HD [sometime in the future]). It looks like they're being distributed as a quiter alternative to fans, but the system may be great for overclocking as well. I think these should make Anand's review list.

RandomCoil,

You where ahead of your time with this post. This case is just now getting talked up.

Seems like an awesome solution to me! Since I'm in Kirkland, I just may drive down to InfoTech in Federal Way and look at the case first hand.

How much higher can you take an AXIA using water cooling? (generally). I can run 1.45 stable at 1.80 Vcore with a Fop-32, would I break 1.5 with the Koolance?

On one of the reviews I think I saw them say that if you were to watercool more components in the case, the cpu temp would get higher. Why would this be correct? Maybe because the water has to flow through a lot more components thus heating it up more? Would it ultimately make the case temp go down because each component would be cooled indivually?

Fitzhue, I think that in that review, they were concerned with diminished ability to cool the cpu since other sources would be using the same heating system.

I don't think it would be a problem after looking at the performance of the unit though.

I plan to pick one up in a couple months. Its the coolest case and cooling system combo I've ever seen.

Wow! I'm glad someone finally was able to get their hands on the Koolance system! It's even better that HardOCP is the one reviewing! :D It's always a good insightful unbaised review with them. ;)
