Healthy snack?

I'm in the market for something new to eat at work. I normally eat crackers - like Saltines or Ritz. I eat a LOT of them and I know it can't be good for me. I live a very active life, and if I don't eat constantly during the day I feel very sick and tired.

So what is something that is safe to eat a lot of during a day? Something to just keep me from being hungry. The cheaper the better.

pretzels? I've been going thru 4 PB&J sandwhiches 🙁 2 around 10 (between breakfast and lunch) then 2 more around 3 a couple hours before I head home for dinner 🙁

Could also increase your intake of water. Drinking more water before you eat would lead to less consumed...then you wouldn't really have to be so concerned about healthy snacks...

I wish. Water just passes right through me. I usually drink 1.5 gallons at work and another .5 gallon during my workout at the gym. It doesn't phase my appetite.

I'm munching on some carrot and celery sticks with some Emeril's Blue Cheese dressing (with some extra Roquefort thrown in for good measure) and some walnuts. I don't know how healthy it is, but damn it's good. 🙂

Veggies (baby carrots, broccoli, grape or cherry tomatoes, celery, etc.), pretzals, fruit (dried or fresh berries, grapes/raisins, sliced/diced apples/peaches/pinapple/apricots/etc.), nuts (they are good for you in moderation, so you may not want to snack all day, every day on them).
