Healthcare membership programs (not insurance)....scams?

my mother was given information on this: "Family Care" Healthcare

looks like it's just a discount plan for certain medical/dental providers for around $60/month. are these worth it? are they scams?

Did you read all the fine print? It's usually a good way to find out if it's some sort of scam.
